Hello, I am Thayer Allyson Gowdy and Wilder Ceramics is my ceramic practice.  It emerged from a desire to feel closer to this darling earth. To honor mother nature + embrace pottery as a personal meditation practice. Offering ceramics for rituals, a fistful of wildflowers, shared meals + cooking on open fire.

I am  currently creating Ceremonial dishes for local hotel in the Ojai Valley.  Speckleware and hand drawn lines are my new obsession; reminiscent of  camping plates.

I makes everything in small batches from my greenhouse pottery studio in Ojai , California.
